The Data, Analytics & AI team provides data, analytics, and business intelligence to support data-driven decisions, improve efficiency, and optimize returns.
The Data Science Expert will help advance the bank’s data science capabilities and increase the value derived from available data.
AI and machine learning experience in a banking context is described as a major success factor.
Key responsibilities
- Develop advanced data science solutions with business executives and departments, including computer vision, behavioral analysis, NLP, LLMs, and generative AI use cases.
- Design, test, and launch complex analytical models for structured and unstructured data.
- Develop big-data capabilities and coordinate cross-functional analytics initiatives.
- Support data mining and collection, data quality and integrity, and analysis of data problems.
- Plan and prioritize data projects; build analytical systems, predictive models, and AI capabilities.
- Test data-driven products, visualize data, prepare reports, and present to senior stakeholders.
- Experiment with new models and techniques.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 7 years of experience in data science roles.
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as data science, computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
- Banking or fintech experience is preferred.
- Certifications in Python, R, SQL, AI, or machine learning are nice to have.
- Relevant expertise includes data analytics, data management, technical problem-solving, delivery, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking.
