Role summary

Responsibilities

• Work with business executives and departments to provide advanced data science solutions for implementation.
• Design, test, and launch complex analytical models using data mining techniques on structured and unstructured datasets.
• Develop big data capabilities and coordinate cross-functional analytics initiatives.
• Develop data mining and collection procedures; ensure data quality and integrity; interpret and analyze data problems.
• Conceive, plan, and prioritize data projects; build analytical systems, predictive models, and AI capabilities.
• Test data-driven product performance; visualize data, create reports, and present to stakeholders, including senior management.
• Experiment with new models and techniques.
• Work on use cases including intelligent character recognition, computer vision, behavioral and early-warning analysis, generative AI, NLP, LLMs, and hyper-personalization.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in a relevant discipline, including Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Seven or more years of experience in data science roles.
• Banking or fintech experience is preferred.
• Certifications in Python, R, SQL, AI, or machine learning are nice to have.
• The role calls for technical knowledge, problem-solving, delivery focus, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking.
