Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, visualizations, and performance metrics for operational and executive audiences.
- Develop SQL queries; build dimensional and semantic models; deliver Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse and related Azure analytics solutions.
- Integrate data from APIs, JSON, file exchanges, relational databases, and other structured or semi-structured sources.
- Use Python/Pandas for data preparation, automation, and analysis; analyze complex datasets and communicate actionable insights.
- Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into useful analytical and reporting solutions.
- Support data quality, documentation, governance, privacy, and security; improve and automate reporting processes.
- Work with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors or service providers.
Required qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- 3+ years in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical role, including 3+ years developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and analyzing large datasets; experience with dimensional data modeling.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse, Azure Data Services, or comparable cloud analytics platforms; Python/Pandas experience.
- Experience integrating data using APIs, JSON, file exchanges, and relational databases; ability to work with structured and semi-structured data.
- Able to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and clearly present complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong communication and listening skills, structured problem-solving, and comfort working directly with stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
- Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification is a nice-to-have.
- Tableau, Qlik, Looker, SSRS, advanced Excel, Snowflake, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform experience is a nice-to-have.
- Aviation, transportation, or complex 24/7 operational experience; data governance, privacy, information security, or operational metrics knowledge is beneficial.
- English and French communication is an asset.
