Serves as the company focal point for site permits during hook-up and commissioning phases.
Supports the Head of Commissioning with PTW planning and schedule-aligned work execution.
Permit coordination and compliance
- Connects PTW preparation with HSE requirements and work execution.
- Checks originator and submission compliance, permit documentation, supporting certificates, signatures, and SHE requirements before issue.
- Audits permits, isolations, CSE certificates, and gas-test compliance against procedures and project needs.
- Ensures PTW submission and closure meet procedures and commissioning schedules.
Commissioning coordination and reporting
- Attends PTW coordination and daily SIMOPS meetings and aligns work with project schedules and commissioning delivery.
- Coordinates permits across commissioning and completions teams to avoid clashes and SIMOPS conflicts.
- Provides daily and weekly reports and liaises with contractors and subcontractors on PTW matters.
- Follows up on progress and permit failure modes and contributes findings to lessons learned.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Eight years of relevant experience in a similar permit coordinator role.
- Five years of field-equipment experience in an oil and gas processing, petrochemical plant, construction yard, or shipyard environment.
- Broad knowledge of onshore and offshore oil and gas projects, including greenfield and brownfield work.
- In-depth knowledge of PTW procedures, permit execution, isolation design, CSE and gas-test protocols, and completions and commissioning documentation.
