Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and present architectural concepts through detailed 3D models and renderings.
• Create high-quality visualizations of interior and exterior spaces using 3ds Max and rendering software.
• Prepare design presentations, mood boards and visual storytelling materials.
• Research materials, finishes and construction techniques for innovative, feasible designs.
• Collaborate with architects, designers and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Develop creative concepts and create accurate 3D models and renderings.
• Produce photorealistic images, animations and virtual reality experiences.
• Meet project timelines and quality standards; stay current with visualization trends and practices.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture and at least 3 years of field experience.
• Design and visualization experience, familiarity with local authorities' guidelines, and a portfolio demonstrating 3D modeling and rendering work.
• Advanced proficiency in 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona Renderer or similar software.
• Strong knowledge of architectural principles, spatial design and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Design tools and technical skills

• Use AutoCAD for architectural drafting and Revit for Building Information Modelling.
• Experience with SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, for concepts and presentation materials.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and project management.
• Strong understanding of rendering workflows, lighting, material creation and 3D model optimization.

Workplace

• The role works from the Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai.
