Role Overview
Lead commissioning activities for an offshore telecom-related brownfield project.
The role covers pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities through asset handover.
Commissioning Delivery
- Witness contractors’ scope of work and validate test and check sheets against project requirements.
- Follow up construction activities during pre-shutdown and shutdown periods for brownfield WHPs and RTs.
- Oversee offshore brownfield pre-commissioning and commissioning execution and ensure safe, compliant delivery.
- Oversee and control mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning documentation.
Completion and Handover
- Manage punch-list creation, categorization and clearance through weekly contractor meetings.
- Verify contractor completion dossiers through mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning to handover.
- Monitor subsystem progress using the completion management system and ensure timely handovers.
- Monitor and verify contractor preservation activities against project requirements.
Lessons Learned
- Coordinate and share commissioning lessons learned for inclusion in the project lessons learned register.
Experience Requirements
- Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up experience as a commissioning performer on major oil and gas projects.
- Experience overseeing offshore brownfield pre-commissioning and commissioning execution activities.
- Experience with mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning documentation through handover.
