Role overview

Engineering design and technical leadership

• Lead multiple projects and mentor engineers, designers, and modelers; review and approve calculations, reports, specifications, and drawings.
• Lead design of RCC and steel structures, industrial buildings, equipment and machine foundations, pipe and cable racks, tanks, and vessel foundations.
• Design scope also includes compressor and pump foundations, substations, utility buildings, warehouses, PEBs, retaining walls, underground structures, roads, paving, and grading interfaces.
• Review structural analysis, calculations, load assumptions, stability, and seismic, wind, and dynamic design; support safe, economical, constructible, optimized designs.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, project specifications, applicable codes, and standards, and resolve complex engineering and construction challenges.

Project delivery and coordination

• Manage discipline schedules, deliverables, engineering progress, productivity, and resource needs; estimate man-hours and support proposals and cost estimation.
• Identify project risks and mitigations and ensure timely delivery of quality engineering outputs.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, architecture, PHE, HVAC, and underground engineering teams.
• Participate in plot plan, HAZOP, model, and interdisciplinary design reviews.
• Serve as the client civil and structural focal point and coordinate with licensors, consultants, contractors, and vendors.

Construction support and quality

• Provide construction and commissioning engineering support; review technical queries, RFIs, site modifications, contractor drawings, and construction documentation.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and constructability reviews; support field engineering and issue resolution.
• Implement project quality objectives and lessons learned.

Experience and industry background

• 12–20 years of experience.
• Experience in one or more listed sectors: FMCG manufacturing, food and beverage, chemical and specialty chemical, oil and gas processing, refineries, petrochemical, LNG/LPG, tank farms and terminals, industrial infrastructure, or warehousing and logistics.
