Responsibilities
- Allocate labor, plant, and vehicles daily and reassign them when projects fall behind schedule.
- Ensure material requests are raised properly and purchase orders are followed through to delivery.
- Run weekly project reviews and ensure every site submits its weekly report on time.
- Check subcontractor work and measurements before bills and advances are approved.
- Control site assets, including scaffolding, tools, and plant; record transfers, complete counts, and account for losses.
- Close projects through snagging, handover, store clearance, asset returns, and final account paperwork.
- Enforce site safety, quality, permits, NOCs, and ERP routines for labor allocation, overtime, material requests, and progress reports.
- Manage project managers and site engineers day to day.
Requirements
- Civil engineering degree.
- At least 10 years of experience in UAE contracting.
- Hands-on experience controlling subcontractors, procurement, and site stores, beyond supervising works.
- UAE driving licence; Arabic is a plus.
