QA/QC Engineer

Major Responsibilities
- Coordinate, schedule, and witness site inspections via Work Inspection Requests at all construction stages.
- Inspect incoming materials against approved data sheets and manage Material Inspection Requests before installation.
- Supervise on-site and third-party laboratory tests for concrete cubes, soil compaction, waterproofing, and structural elements.
- Audit subcontractor quality procedures, method statements, and work execution for compliance.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports for site deviations and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain NCR registers, material logs, test results, and other current quality records.
- Liaise with the client’s representative or consultant for daily inspections and final handovers.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3 to 6 years of site experience with a main contractor or tier-1 subcontractor.
- Ability to read, interpret, and cross-reference construction blueprints, shop drawings, and structural specifications.
- ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification is a strong advantage.
- Relevant technical certifications, such as concrete, welding, or waterproofing inspection, are highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Procore, Aconex, or Autodesk Build for submittals and QA/QC workflows.
Pay
- AED 6,000–8,000 per month.
