Role overview
Oversee and inspect civil construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and inspect new construction, building renovations, airfields, pipelines, and other civil works.
- Conduct on-site inspections for compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans.
- Monitor contractor performance and issue non-conformance reports when necessary.
- Review blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documents to identify potential issues.
- Perform quality control tests on materials and construction work, including civil and structural finishes and infrastructure components.
- Maintain daily logs, inspection reports, and records of tests and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report potential hazards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve issues and support timely completion.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of road-project department supervision experience; this is a supervision role, not a design role.
- Ashghal approval is required.
