Civil Draftsman supporting Oil and Gas EPC, industrial, power, marine, and infrastructure projects.
The role focuses primarily on civil and structural works and accurate technical drawings.
Technical drafting and coordination
- Prepare 2D and 3D civil and structural drawings, layouts, plans, sections, details, and schematics using CAD software.
- Produce drawings from project specifications, engineering calculations, and design requirements; update as-built drawings and design revisions.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams; participate in design reviews and provide project progress updates.
Documentation, quality, and development
- Maintain drawing and project records, revision control, and standard templates, symbols, and blocks.
- Verify drawings against specifications and standards, follow QA/QC practices, and support audits and corrective actions.
- Keep current with drafting technologies, take part in training, and improve drawing quality and productivity.
Experience and education
- At least 4–6 years of drafting experience; experience in Oil and Gas EPC, industrial construction, power plants, marine infrastructure, or heavy civil projects is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Skills and standards
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or other 2D and 3D drafting/design software.
- Knowledge of civil and structural drafting standards, engineering and construction processes, and relevant standards such as ASME, API, and BS.
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple assignments, communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
