The Chief Technician, Weapon Integration role is with the Halcon Mechatronics Department.
The role leads integration, assembly, and testing of precision-guided weapons and missile systems.
The technician supports ground and flight testing and launch-platform integration, bridging engineering design and production.
Responsibilities
- Integrate, assemble, test, and evaluate guided weapons and missile systems, including acceptance testing.
- Support ground testing, flight testing, and launch-platform integration activities.
- Manage Interface Control Documents, harness development, and integration data packs.
- Develop and maintain tools, jigs, fixtures, assembly instructions, and testing procedures.
- Train and mentor technicians and ensure compliance with engineering processes and workflows.
- Ensure products meet performance, quality, and acceptance requirements.
Basic qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6–10 years of experience in guided weapons, missile systems, or defense integration programs.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering, baseline management, and engineering documentation.
- Experience manufacturing, testing, integrating, and accepting complex electro-mechanical systems.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in defense, aerospace, military, or missile-development environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of guidance and control systems, weapon telemetry, and launch-platform integration is preferred.
