Key Responsibilities And Duties

• **Project Delivery & Ownership:**
• Ensure that all activities related to the static equipment engineering discipline within the assigned project are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety/environment requirements.
• **Technical Assurance:**
• Act as the technical authority and lead the Technical Assurance process for the assigned project.
• **Deliverables Approval:**
• Formally review and approve all engineering deliverables issued by the Static Equipment discipline for the project, including technical specifications, mechanical data sheets, inspection data sheets, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations for equipment.
• **Project & Cost Control:**
• Prepare the deliverables planning of the static discipline in line with the project schedule.
• Control, review, and monitor any progress deviation from the plan, setting up recovery plans as necessary.
• **Man-Hour Management:**
• Plan discipline engineering man-hours in line with the progress schedule and budget, strictly monitoring any deviations between spent and earned man-hours.
• **Procurement & Subcontractor Control:**
• Perform or supervise the overall process of the Material Requisitions for mechanical equipment (MR issue, bids technical evaluation, vendor follow-up, and review of vendor technical documentation).
• Coordinate engineering subcontractor activities and interact directly with suppliers for technical issues.
• **Design Optimization:**
• Ensure static equipment engineering is developed with proper coordination among other engineering disciplines.
• Analyze project constraints to solve issues arising during engineering development, and propose optimizations or changes to minimize quantities and costs or optimize the project schedule.
• **Inspections & Site Support:**
• Carry out the periodical estimate of material and erection quantities.
• Attend main inspections and tests in vendor shops, and support the Site Technical Office during erection and commissioning phases.
• **Commercial & Bidding Interface:**
• Interact directly with the Client as the key technical contact person for the static discipline.
• Support the Project Management Team in case of disputes or claims related to new scopes of work, cost/time impacts, and risk evaluations.
• Review tender documentation and prepare clarification requests during the bid phase , while supporting the Construction Department in the Work Requisitions process.

Your Profile

• **Experience:**
• 10–15 years of long-standing experience
• in Static Equipment Engineering within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy projects.
• You must possess proven experience in Mechanical Engineering leadership roles on large EPC projects with a specific focus on Static Equipment.
• **Education:**
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in

Mechanical Engineering

• with a solid Mechanical Engineering background.
• **Technical Domain:**
• Deep knowledge of main international codes, standards, and best engineering practices for rotating equipment, static equipment, and HVAC systems.
• **Languages:**
• Fluent written and spoken

English
