Key Responsibilities And Duties

• **Project Delivery & Ownership:**
• Ensure that all activities related to critical rotating equipment (including centrifugal/reciprocating compressors, pumps, and gas turbines) within the assigned project are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety/environment requirements.
• **Technical Assurance:**
• Act as the ultimate technical authority and lead the Technical Assurance process for all assigned rotating machinery scopes.
• **Deliverables Approval:**
• Formally review, check, and approve all engineering outputs issued for the project, including technical specifications, mechanical data sheets, inspection data sheets, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations (TBE) for complex machinery packages.
• **Project & Cost Control:**
• Prepare the deliverables planning for the rotating equipment discipline in line with the project schedule.
• Control, review, and monitor any progress deviations from the plan, setting up recovery plans as necessary.
• **Man-Hour Management:**
• Plan discipline engineering man-hours in line with the progress schedule and budget, strictly monitoring any deviations between spent and earned man-hours.
• **Procurement & Vendor Follow-Up:**
• Perform or supervise the overall process of Material Requisitions (MR issue, technical bid evaluation, vendor follow-up, and review of vendor technical documentation) for critical packages.
• Interact directly with equipment suppliers to resolve complex technical issues.
• **Design Integration & Optimization:**
• Ensure that rotating equipment engineering is developed with proper coordination among other engineering disciplines.
• Analyze project constraints to solve engineering development issues promptly, and propose optimizations/changes to minimize quantities/costs or optimize the project schedule.
• **Testing & Site Support:**
• Attend main inspections and tests in vendor shops, including critical factory acceptance tests, performance tests, and mechanical run tests (MRT/string tests).
• Support the Site Technical Office during erection, mechanical completion, and commissioning phases.
• **Commercial & Bidding Interface:**
• Interact directly with Client technical representatives as the key person for the rotating discipline.
• Support the Project Management Team in case of disputes or claims (evaluating new scopes of work, cost/time impacts, and risks).
• Review tender documentation and prepare technical clarification requests during the bid phase.

Your Profile

• **Experience:**
• 10–15 years of long-standing experience
• in Rotating Equipment Engineering within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy projects.
• You must possess proven engineering leadership experience on large EPC projects with a specific focus on heavy machinery packages.
• **Education:**
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in

Mechanical Engineering

• **Technical Domain:**
• Deep knowledge of main international codes, standards, and best engineering practices for rotating equipment (specifically
• API 610, API 617, API 618, API 616
• , ASME, etc.).
• Strong command of machinery auxiliary systems (lube oil skids, seal gas systems) and package integration criticalities.
• **Languages:**
• Fluent written and spoken

English
