Key Responsibilities And Duties

• **Project Delivery & Ownership:**
• Ensure that all activities related to the Civil engineering discipline within the assigned project are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• **Technical Assurance:**
• Act as the technical authority and lead the Technical Assurance process for the assigned project.
• **Deliverables Approval:**
• Review and formally approve all engineering deliverables issued by the civil discipline for the project.
• **Project & Cost Control:**
• Prepare the deliverables planning of the civil discipline in line with the project schedule.
• Control, review, and monitor any progress deviations from the plan, setting up recovery plans as necessary.
• **Man-Hour Management:**
• Plan discipline engineering man-hours in line with the progress schedule and budget, strictly monitoring any deviations between spent and earned man-hours.
• **Design Coordination:**
• Ensure that civil engineering is developed with proper coordination among other disciplines by performing and participating in interdisciplinary squad checks.
• **Quantity Estimate & Control:**
• Ensure a sound, reliable project quantity estimate and control mechanism.
• Analyze project constraints to solve engineering development issues and propose optimizations or changes to minimize quantities and costs.
• **Procurement & Site Support:**
• Support the Construction Department in the Work Requisitions process, including quantity checks, scope of work descriptions, technical bid evaluations, and technical document approvals.
• Assist the Site Technical Office during erection and commissioning phases.
• **Client & Commercial Interface:**
• Interact directly with the Client as the key technical contact person for the civil discipline.
• Support the Project Management Team in case of disputes or claims related to the civil scope.
• **Bidding Phase Support:**
• Review tender documentation, prepare technical clarification requests, handle quantity pre-calculations, and interact with the Estimating Team to establish accurate cost and quantity estimates during the bid phase.

Your Profile

• **Experience:**

Minimum

• 10–15 years of experience
• in Civil Engineering specifically dedicated to large EPC or Energy projects.
• You must have a strong background holding engineering leadership or project ownership roles within these domains.
• **Education:**
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in

Civil Engineering

• **Technical Domain:**
• Deep knowledge of major international Civil and Structural Codes combined with robust structural calculation knowledge.
• **Languages:**
• Fluent written and spoken

English
