Key Responsibilities And Duties

• **Project Delivery & Ownership:**
• Ensure that all activities related to the HVAC engineering discipline within the assigned project are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety/environment requirements.
• **Technical Assurance:**
• Act as the discipline authority and lead the Technical Assurance process for the assigned HVAC scope.
• **Deliverables Approval:**
• Formally review, check, and approve all engineering outputs issued by the discipline, including HVAC calculation reports, design criteria, technical specifications, mechanical data sheets, inspection data sheets, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations.
• **Design & Sizing Verification:**
• Oversee and verify HVAC design calculations according to applicable international codes to define main equipment sizing and technical constraints.
• **Project & Cost Control:**
• Prepare the deliverables planning for the HVAC scope in line with the project schedule.
• Control, review, and monitor progress deviations, set up recovery plans, and track discipline engineering man-hours against the budget.
• **Procurement & Vendor Interface:**
• Supervise the overall process of Material Requisitions and technical bid evaluations for HVAC equipment.
• Review vendor technical documentation, manage supplier follow-ups, and attend main inspections and tests in vendor shops.
• **Interdisciplinary & Site Support:**
• Ensure proper technical coordination with other engineering disciplines and actively participate in squad checks.
• Carry out periodical estimates of material and erection quantities, propose optimizations to minimize costs/schedule, and support the Site Technical Office during erection and commissioning phases.
• **Commercial & Bidding Interface:**
• Support the Chief Mechanical Engineer and Project Management Team in client interactions and the management of disputes or claims (evaluating new scopes of work, cost/time impacts, and risks).
• Review tender documentation and prepare clarification requests during the bid phase.

Your Profile

• **Experience:**
• 10–15 years of long-standing experience
• in HVAC Engineering within large EPC Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy projects.
• You must possess proven technical leadership and project delivery experience on complex industrial HVAC systems.
• **Education:**
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in

Mechanical Engineering

• **Technical Domain:**
• Deep knowledge of main international codes, standards, and best engineering practices for HVAC design.
• Advanced proficiency in calculation software for HVAC design and equipment sizing.
• **Languages:**
• Fluent written and spoken

English
