Key Responsibilities And Duties

• **Project Delivery & Ownership:**
• Supervise and execute all Automation & Control (A&C) engineering activities related to the assigned project.
• Ensure development respects Contract, Quality, Safety, and Environment requirements within the specific time schedule and cost.
• **Technical Assurance:**
• Act as the technical champion for A&C within the project and lead the Technical Assurance process.
• **Deliverables Approval:**
• Check and formally approve all main deliverables relevant to A&C issued for the project, including design criteria, technical specifications, mechanical data sheets, inspection data sheets, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations (TBE).
• **Advanced Engineering Design:**
• Supervise or develop C&A narrative descriptions, C&A Functional Logic Diagrams (FLD) utilizing formal engineering language, and Cause & Effect (C&E) Matrices for ESD & FGS systems.
• **Vendor & Subcontractor Control:**
• Support the review of vendor documentation relevant to A&C, define technical alternative solutions for complex problems to guarantee high quality and profitability, and interact with subcontractors on all technical issues.
• **Design Reviews & FAT:**
• Participate actively in project HAZOP, SIL, and ALARP design review meetings.
• Propose optimizations or design changes to minimize costs or optimize the project schedule, and participate in the most critical Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• **Site & Lifecycle Support:**
• Support the site team by clarifying potential issues, providing solutions to correct engineering errors, and participating directly in the commissioning phase of the project.
• **Client & Bidding Interface:**
• Support interactions with Client representatives or suppliers as the key technical person for the automation scope.
• Review tender documentation and prepare technical clarification requests during the bid phase.

Your Profile

• **Experience:**
• 10–15 years of long-standing experience
• in A&C Engineering specifically within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy EPC projects.
• You must have a strong background in technical leadership and project delivery ownership.
• **Education:**
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in

Electronic Or Telecommunications Engineering

• **Technical Domain:**
• Deep knowledge of ICSS (DCS/ESD/FGS) systems, automation & control applications, and communication protocols.
• Strong command of A&C formal languages (SAMA, ISA, ISO, IEC).
• **Standards & Systems:**
• Solid understanding of main international codes and standards (ISA, IEC, IEEE, ATEX, NFPA, API, etc.), FIELD BUS systems design, SCADA systems (fiber/radio/satellite), field instruments, and field engineering.
• **Languages:**
• Fluent written and spoken

English
