Chef de Partie

Position purpose

Kitchen operations

• Manage the assigned section during daily operations and prepare food according to recipes, standards, and portion specifications.
• Maintain consistent taste, presentation, portion size, and quality; complete mise en place and prepare the section before service.
• Monitor stock, communicate required items, and follow ordering and inventory procedures.
• Control waste and maintain food storage, labeling, stock rotation, and checks of quality, expiry dates, temperatures, and storage conditions.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and hygienic; follow food safety, HACCP, municipality, and company requirements.
• Support kitchen leadership during busy service and guide Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants when required.
• Complete shift handovers, communicate with kitchen leadership and the front-of-house team, and report equipment, maintenance, quality, or operational issues.
• Support menu launches, recipe trials, events, and special projects; follow company policies for attendance, uniform, grooming, and conduct.

Leadership and accountability

• Take responsibility for the assigned section during the shift and ensure team members follow preparation and hygiene standards.
• Maintain discipline and teamwork, address operational issues within the section, and escalate issues when needed.

Candidate requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen position.
• Experience in café, specialty coffee, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen operations is preferred.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods.
• Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent standards.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and special events.

Pay

• AED 3,000–3,500 per month.

• Work is in person.
