Cartel Coffee Roasters is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable accountant to support financial and accounting operations.
The specialty coffee company has a growing presence across the UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions; handle daily entries, invoices, receipts, payments, and reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable; perform regular bank and supplier reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly closing and financial report preparation.
- Monitor expenses, petty cash, and branch-level financial transactions.
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documents; coordinate with suppliers and internal departments on invoices and payments.
- Assist with UAE VAT records, filings, and documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Support payroll-related accounting and employee expense records when required.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and filing; support management with analysis, reporting, and other accounting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and applicable UAE regulations.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; required.
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the UAE; at least 2 years is specified as required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- UAE VAT knowledge and practical experience are preferred.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; strong communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in F&B, hospitality, retail, or a multi-branch environment is advantageous.
Pay
- AED 3,000–4,000 per month.

- Work is in person.
