About the Role
Games For Love is seeking a Certification Team Lead to oversee the review and evaluation of games submitted to the Jampack platform.
In this leadership volunteer role, you will act as a publishing authority—ensuring that every game meets Jampack’s quality standards, aligns with platform goals, and has strong potential for player engagement and retention. Your decisions will directly shape the reputation and growth of the platform.
Key Contributions
Review QA results and technical evaluations prior to publication decisions.
Assess gameplay quality, core loop strength, and retention potential.
Evaluate alignment with Jampack’s platform standards and audience expectations.
Provide structured feedback to developers when improvements are needed.
Determine final publishing outcomes:
Publish to platform
Return to Incubator for further refinement
Reject if standards are not met
Collaborate with QA, Incubator, and Product teams to maintain a high-quality game pipeline.
Help define and refine publishing criteria as the platform evolves.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of what makes a game engaging—not just technically functional.
- Ability to analyze gameplay loops, progression systems, and retention mechanics.
- Broad experience playing a wide variety of games (mobile, indie, arcade, browser, etc.).
- Strong critical thinking and objective evaluation skills.
- Comfortable making decisive calls on game quality and platform fit.
- Experience in QA, game design, publishing, or product review is a plus.
