Join a financial services and technology organization expanding its engineering team.
Build and enhance a high-performance trading platform used in a financial markets environment.
Work with engineers, quantitative specialists, traders, and other technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using modern C++.
- Build reliable and scalable components for a trading or financial markets platform.
- Work on performance-critical, low-latency, or high-throughput systems.
- Collaborate with traders, quantitative analysts, product specialists, and software engineers.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical and production issues.
- Improve the performance, stability, and scalability of existing systems.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Contribute across technical design, implementation, testing, optimization, deployment, and ongoing support.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience developing software in C++.
- Good understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience building performance-sensitive, concurrent, or distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of software development principles and engineering best practice.
- Experience with Linux or other Unix-based operating systems.
- Familiarity with multithreading, networking, memory management, and performance optimization.
