Role overview
Provide personalized, anticipatory service to hotel guests and coordinate guest needs across hotel departments.
Guest and VIP service
- Deliver coffee and tea upon request and anticipate guest needs during check-in.
- Prepare new-arrival preference notes and communicate them to hotel operations.
- Coordinate VIP room preparation, check keys and room details, and arrange escorts for early arrivals and VIP guests.
- Complete butler flags entered by reservations, sales, and other departments, and send pre-arrival emails.
- Work with Guest Services and Engineering to resolve requests.
Laundry and service duties
- Collect guest laundry requests, follow up on delivery, and return laundry promptly.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to a manager.
- Welcome guests, address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests.
- Answer telephones professionally, maintain positive working relationships, and support team goals.
- Follow company policies and quality standards; perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications and working conditions
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No license or certification is specified.
- Able to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or an entire work shift.
- Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and communicate clearly.
Schedule
- Full-time schedule.
Workplace
- The role is not remote and is based at the hotel in Doha, Qatar.
