Overview

The Butler Manager is responsible for overseeing all butler operations, ensuring personalized guest experiences, managing team performance, and maintaining the highest standards of luxury service.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive luxury hospitality experience, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and develop the Butler team to deliver exceptional personalized service
  • Ensure all guest preferences, requests, and special requirements are anticipated and fulfilled
  • Maintain and continuously improve butler service standards and operational procedures
  • Conduct training, coaching, and performance evaluations for butler staff
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Concierge, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Manage guest feedback and resolve service-related concerns promptly and professionally
  • Monitor staffing levels, schedules, and productivity to meet operational requirements
  • Ensure accurate documentation of guest profiles, preferences, and service requests
  • Uphold confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times
  • Support VIP arrivals, special events, and high-profile guest requirements
  • Prepare departmental reports and assist with budgeting and cost-control initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury hospitality, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial butler roles
  • Strong knowledge of luxury service standards and guest relations
  • Proven leadership, team management, and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle VIP guests and sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as required
