Role overview

Discovery and requirements

• Lead knowledge-transfer sessions and stakeholder interviews across banking, risk, compliance, and operations teams.
• Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, data contracts, and source-to-target mappings.

Backlog and delivery

• Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria and traceability; manage and prioritize the backlog and control scope changes.
• Align delivery with Medallion, Lambda, and data governance frameworks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain Jira/Confluence artifacts.

Banking, collaboration, and testing

• Provide expertise across retail and corporate banking and support SAMA, data governance, and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, data modelers, and developers; facilitate workshops, drive decisions, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Support test planning, UAT, and acceptance validation; perform data validation and reconciliation using SQL.
• Communicate project status, risks, and key updates to stakeholders.

Skills and experience

• Proven business analysis experience and relevant banking or financial services experience.
• Strong understanding of retail and corporate banking processes and products, including loans, cards, deposits, and wealth management.
• Familiarity with SAMA compliance expectations and audit readiness in KSA contexts.
• SQL proficiency for data validation and requirement verification; window functions are preferred.
• Hands-on Agile SDLC (Scrum/Kanban), Jira/Confluence, and user-story writing with acceptance criteria.
• Excellent listening, communication, stakeholder management, and liaison skills across business and technical teams.
• Strong documentation skills, including BRDs/FRDs, RTMs, and workshop outputs.
