Bar and guest service duties
- Inspect staff grooming and attire, coordinate teamwork, and communicate with guests and departments to meet guest needs.
- Monitor dining areas for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being; communicate last call at closing.
- Complete maintenance work orders and scheduled inventories; check stock and requisition supplies.
- Manage the assigned cash bank, maintain its accuracy and security, and obtain change for expected business.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
- Follow company, safety, and security policies; report incidents and unsafe conditions and complete safety training.
- Welcome guests, address their service needs, communicate professionally, and uphold quality standards.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and perform other reasonable assigned duties.
Preferred qualifications
- At least two years of related work experience is preferred.
- At least two years of supervisory experience is preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No license or certification is specified.
Physical demands
- The role involves extended periods standing, sitting, or walking; lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds; and working in confined or elevated spaces.
- The role may involve stairs or service ramps, reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
