Etihad seeks experienced and certifying B2 Aircraft Engineers with Base Maintenance experience.
Perform and certify maintenance under Etihad’s authorization policy and guide Aircraft Technicians to ensure safe, efficient, compliant work.
Accountabilities
- Certify own work and others’ work after verifying approved data and authorization scope.
- Complete documentation accurately and on time under company procedures.
- Comply with company, health and safety, and airport regulations during maintenance.
- Prepare materials, parts, tools, equipment, and documentation at each shift start.
- Maintain clean, hazard-free work areas to prevent FOD; keep equipment and work areas clean, serviceable, and safe.
- Guide Technicians in safe and effective work practices; interact professionally with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.
- Participate in training and development; follow company health, safety, and corporate image standards.
- Inspect Ground Support Equipment and complete checklists; inspect company vehicles daily and complete the required form.
- Follow and promote Safety & Quality Management Manual procedures and positive safety reporting.
- Complete work safely and in accordance with Etihad processes, procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- High School Leaving Certificate, Diploma, University degree, or College degree.
- Valid Aircraft Maintenance License: GCAA, EASA Part-66, or ICAO type convertible to GCAA.
- 7–10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 5 years of certifying experience in Base/Light Maintenance.
- 2–3 years of certifying experience on at least two listed Etihad aircraft type ratings at Level 3, with valid company authorization.
- Excellent communication and teamwork, with commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
