Role overview

Azure operations and delivery

• Administer Azure virtual machines, AKS/OCP clusters, storage, networking, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Manage Azure PaaS services including App Services, Functions, databases, and other native services.
• Maintain, patch, and upgrade cloud infrastructure.
• Operate Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Respond to alerts and production incidents, resolve issues within agreed SLAs, and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitOps; maintain Terraform infrastructure as code.
• Enable repeatable deployments across development, test, and production environments.
• Optimize performance, scalability, capacity, cloud costs, and governance.
• Design high availability and disaster recovery aligned with RTO/RPO targets.
• Maintain security controls for access, networks, encryption, and keys; manage subscription and resource permissions.
• Develop runbooks, procedures, and technical documentation; participate in change and configuration management.
• Improve resilience, efficiency, and observability.

Required skills and experience

• Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS experience.
• Azure networking experience including VNets, VPN/ExpressRoute, NSGs, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Azure DevOps experience with pipelines, repositories, and artifacts.
• Practical Terraform and PowerShell or Bash knowledge.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Background in cloud operations, site reliability engineering, or infrastructure operations.
• Production experience in incident, problem, and change management.
• Familiarity with high availability, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills, structured working style, and cross-functional communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred qualifications

• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400 are preferred.
• AKS or OpenShift, microservices, and security or compliance integration experience are preferred.

Pay

• AED 4,000–13,000 per month.
