Key responsibilities
- Supervise PV mounting structure, tracker or fixed-tilt system, and solar module installation.
- Review drawings, layouts, specifications, method statements, and technical documents; monitor pile installation, structural erection, alignment, and module installation.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, engineering, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, quality requirements, and HSE requirements.
- Conduct site inspections; support resolution of technical issues and closure of non-conformance reports and punch points.
- Monitor materials and construction progress; support ITPs, inspection requests, punch lists, and as-built documentation.
- Provide progress updates and report construction constraints to project management.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferably 5–10 years of experience, including relevant utility-scale Solar PV or renewable energy EPC project experience.
- Hands-on tracker and module installation and mechanical site execution experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good knowledge of QA/QC and HSE requirements; strong coordination, problem-solving, and site management skills.
- GCC/UAE Solar PV project experience is preferred.
