Implement QA/QC requirements for civil construction activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, ITPs, quality procedures, and contractual requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect civil works including earthworks, grading, excavation, backfilling, compaction, foundations, cable trenches, drainage, roads, fencing, and equipment foundations or pads.
- Ensure construction complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements; implement and monitor quality plans, ITPs, method statements, and QA/QC procedures.
- Inspect incoming materials and verify approvals, test reports, and compliance documents; coordinate inspections and testing with project teams and stakeholders.
- Record non-conformances and coordinate corrective and preventive actions through closure.
- Maintain inspection reports, test results, material approvals, and compliance certificates; monitor subcontractor and supplier quality.
- Support quality audits, resolve issues with Engineering and Construction teams, prepare reports and KPIs, and maintain handover and close-out records.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least six years of relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of civil construction inspection and QA/QC documentation.
- Experience in Solar PV, BESS, infrastructure, or EPC projects is preferred; ground-mounted Solar PV experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or Quality Management Systems is expected; relevant QA/QC certification is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
