Role overview

Project EHS Manager role requiring ARAMCO approval and an oil and gas experience background.

Responsible for EHS leadership and implementation on construction projects.

EHS planning and systems

  • Prepare EHS and environmental management plans, emergency preparedness plans, risk assessments, and related documents.
  • Monitor and improve the integrated health, safety, and environment management system in line with ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Coordinate external EHS audits, third-party equipment inspections, and revisions to procedures and internal audits.
  • Prepare EHS contract conditions for subcontractors and coordinate occupational health and welfare measures.

Site safety and risk control

  • Conduct daily EHS inspections and risk assessments; notify site engineers and clients or main contractors of high-risk areas.
  • Facilitate work permits and ensure personnel use required protective equipment and equipment is safe before use.
  • Check worker health, hygiene, water, rest areas, lighting, ventilation, and site housekeeping.
  • Conduct job EHS analyses for high-risk activities and ensure method statements incorporate findings.
  • Stop unsafe work and encourage workers and engineers to apply EHS practices.

Training, incidents, and reporting

  • Lead EHS meetings, provide inductions and training, and ensure weekly toolbox talks are delivered.
  • Prepare emergency response plans and conduct emergency drills.
  • Investigate incidents with engineers, communicate findings and precautions, and provide first aid or seek medical assistance when needed.
  • Maintain EHS documentation and report EHS issues and performance to head office and project leadership.
  • Carry out monthly project risk management audits and quarterly system audits.

Requirements

  • ARAMCO-approved EHS Manager with an oil and gas experience background.
  • EHS management system work references ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 9001 standards.
