Site EHS responsibilities
- Prepare EHS documentation, plans, emergency response plans, and environmental management plans.
- Attend client and project EHS meetings and report EHS issues and performance to project and head-office leadership.
- Provide induction and other EHS training; ensure weekly toolbox talks are delivered.
- Conduct daily inspections, assess risks, and alert site engineers or clients to high-risk areas.
- Facilitate work permits and ensure risk findings are reflected in method statements.
- Check PPE use, equipment condition, worker welfare, housekeeping, and site health and hygiene conditions.
- Investigate incidents, communicate findings, and provide first aid or seek medical assistance when required.
Audits, systems, and reporting
- Coordinate external EHS audits and third-party equipment inspections.
- Conduct monthly project risk-management audits and quarterly system audits.
- Maintain EHS records and prepare performance reports for project and company leadership.
- Support management systems aligned with ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 9001.
- Prepare emergency preparedness plans and conduct emergency drills.
- Coordinate occupational health and welfare measures and prepare EHS contract conditions for subcontractors.
- Stop work when unsafe practices are observed and promote proactive safety action.

- The work is associated with construction project sites and coordination with workers, engineers, clients, and contractors.
