Guest service, sales, and reservations
- Resolve guest calls, requests, and problems by contacting appropriate departments or individuals.
- Use sales techniques, including upselling, to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
- Determine and provide complimentary gifts to guests for their patronage.
- Promote brand awareness internally and externally.
- Process Marriott Rewards point redemptions and record loyalty information during reservations.
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
Team and office support
- Perform filing, email, typing, faxing, and other general office duties for Sales and Marketing.
- Assist management with training and motivating employees; serve as a role model.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address their needs, and communicate professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Monitor performance to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified as a qualification.
