Typical workday

Sales and customer service

• Improve store performance and profitability; train staff in customer support, sales techniques, and product features.
• Review sales results, develop improvements, communicate goals, and help the team meet or exceed them.
• Welcome customers, answer questions, explain product qualities and features, and help them find products.
• Schedule staff based on performance and store traffic and manage payroll efficiently.

People and team

• Foster a positive, high-performing work environment and share the company’s vision, mission, and brand culture.
• Recruit, prepare, and train employees; plan schedules, manage attendance, and participate in team performance evaluations.
• Coordinate tasks with the management team and maintain continuity when managers are absent.

Marketing, visual presentation, and administration

• Use planograms to create inviting displays, follow market and competitor trends, build customer loyalty, and support brand presentation.
• Help plan incoming orders, maintain store and backstore cleanliness, and collaborate with mall administration.
• Analyze reports, open and close the store, manage controllable expenses, follow company procedures, and support other team needs.
