Role Overview
Support Australia Mining projects through project coordination, documentation, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Work with project managers, engineering teams, project controls, and commercial functions to support project execution.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities, deliverables, and action items.
- Support MSP or Primavera P6 schedule updates and progress tracking.
- Prepare project reports, dashboards, and meeting minutes.
- Maintain risk, issue, action, and change registers.
- Support project compliance, approvals, and governance requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, records, and reporting systems.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, and project teams.
Skills and Competencies
- Basic project coordination and administrative skills are required.
- Strong organization, time management, communication, attention to detail, and prioritization abilities are required.
- Understanding of project delivery processes and the project lifecycle is required.
- Experience supporting engineering, mining, EPCM, or infrastructure projects is desirable.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business administration, or a related discipline is required.
- CAPM, PMP, or an equivalent project management certification is advantageous.
- Relevant mining, EPCM, or infrastructure project experience is preferred.
Tools
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams is required.
- Exposure to Power BI and project reporting tools is desirable.
- Understanding of project governance, document control, and risk, issue, and action tracking is required.
