The role translates complex data into accessible insight that supports operational improvement and strategic priorities.
Responsibilities
- Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Produce reports, dashboards, and visualizations within specified timeframes.
- Present insight clearly to different audiences, using data storytelling to make findings accessible and compelling.
- Validate data and ensure analysis outputs meet quality standards for accuracy and reliability.
- Guide non-analytical colleagues in interpreting performance information and using insight confidently.
Person specification
- Essential: experience undertaking analysis, providing insight, and producing clear graphical representations and data visualizations.
- Essential: experience presenting analysis and insight to non-technical audiences to enable evidence-based decisions.
- Desirable: practical knowledge of basic mathematics, Excel formulas, or similar.
- Desirable: experience with performance in the CPS, Criminal Justice System, or another operational organization.
- Desirable: membership of GSS, GORs, or an equivalent body.
Salary and benefits
