Role overview

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• At least 15 years of professional experience, including at least 8 years in the GCC with a reputable architectural consultancy.
• Experience managing full design cycles from concept through IFC and tender documentation, with a strong background in architecture and interior design.
• Excellent MEP and structural coordination; proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools.
• Strong leadership, communication and team-management abilities; understanding of international codes, authority requirements and construction practices.
• Portfolio demonstrating project delivery, including IFC architectural and interior drawings.

Design and fit-out delivery

• Lead architectural concept development and oversee schematic, detailed and IFC drawings for compliance with project requirements and local regulations.
• Review and approve design packages for accuracy, constructability and client alignment.
• Lead fit-out packages, including layouts, RCPs, wall elevations, joinery details, finishes plans and material specifications.
• Coordinate with interior designers, FF&E teams and suppliers; validate shop drawings for joinery, millwork, metalwork, stonework and decorative elements.
• Coordinate interior designs with MEP, structural and specialist systems, resolving clashes before issuance.
• Conduct technical workshops; review samples, mock-ups and prototypes; guide site teams and verify fit-out installation quality.
• Prepare and review interior fit-out BOQs, schedules and specifications for tender and construction stages.

Project and team management

• Manage design workflows, schedules and deliverables across concurrent projects, coordinating with clients, consultants and internal teams.
• Lead technical workshops and coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts and support project progress.
• Supervise, mentor and guide junior architects, draftsmen and detailers; assign tasks and review outputs against quality and timeline standards.
• Conduct site visits, review material submittals, shop drawings and RFIs, address construction-stage technical issues, and maintain client relationships.
