Architect Engineer

Role Overview

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare creative and functional interior design concepts based on project requirements.
• Develop space plans, furniture layouts, material selections, and design presentations.
• Prepare architectural drawings, detailed layouts, elevations, sections, and interior design documentation suitable for execution.
• Coordinate with the Finishing & Decoration department to communicate design requirements and specifications.
• Follow up on project implementation to ensure alignment with approved designs and resolve design-related issues during execution.
• Assist in selecting finishing materials, colours, fixtures, and decorative elements, and prepare material schedules and design specifications.
• Conduct site visits to monitor implementation of interior design works and review finishing quality against approved drawings.
• Provide regular updates on design progress and implementation status and coordinate with project teams, contractors, and relevant departments.

Competencies

• Interior Design — ability to develop functional and aesthetically appealing interior design concepts.
• Architectural Drafting — proficiency in preparing architectural drawings, layouts, elevations, and execution details.
• AutoCAD & Design Software — proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with interior design and visualisation software.
• Finishing Materials — knowledge of interior finishing materials, decoration methods, and installation requirements.
• Site Coordination — ability to follow up on design implementation and coordinate with finishing teams.
• Technical Documentation — ability to prepare accurate drawings and material specifications.
• Soft skills: creativity, attention to detail, communication, problem solving, and teamwork.

Job Specifications

• Previous professional experience in interior design is required.
• Experience preparing interior design concepts and architectural drawings.
• Experience coordinating with finishing and decoration teams during project implementation.
• Familiarity with interior finishing materials, execution methods, and site coordination.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Arabic — required.
• English — proficient, required.
