Manage end-to-end MEP technical delivery across high-end, fast-track developments, from concept through final handover.
Ensure MEP services are efficient, comply with UAE regulations, and meet quality standards.
Design and pre-construction
- Evaluate MEP requirements during concept and feasibility stages for technical viability and budget alignment.
- Review schematic, detailed-design, and IFC milestones; identify value engineering opportunities without compromising quality.
- Advise on MEP equipment and material specifications for durability and operational efficiency.
Tendering and approvals
- Lead MEP tender package preparation, technical and commercial bid evaluations, and tender recommendation reports.
- Manage approvals with DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, and Civil Defense; ensure compliance across Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates.
Site execution and handover
- Review contractor shop drawings and material submittals against approved design and schedule.
- Oversee on-site QA/QC inspections, installation quality, and safety compliance.
- Manage MEP testing and commissioning and transition to the operations team.
Experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 8–10 years of MEP management experience, with significant fast-track fit-out experience.
- Experience with high-end commercial and hospitality portfolios.
- Deep familiarity with UAE building codes and DEWA, SEWA, and FEWA requirements.
Technical and interpersonal skills
- Manage compressed timelines without sacrificing technical integrity; review complex shop drawings and identify clashes.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, Legal, Procurement, and Site Engineering; troubleshoot site-level MEP issues.
