Arabic Tailor Cum Salesman

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand their requirements.
• Take accurate body and garment measurements for Arabic thobes and men's garments.
• Understand customer fitting preferences and recommend suitable cuts and styles.
• Advise customers on fabrics, styles, fitting options, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Support customers throughout the sales process and ensure a professional experience.
• Handle customer follow-up and coordinate regarding orders and delivery.
• Assist with maintaining product displays and presentation.
• Support sales activities and achieve assigned sales targets.
• Coordinate with the tailoring/production team to ensure measurements and customer requirements are communicated accurately.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in measuring and fitting Arabic thobes is mandatory.
• Practical knowledge of men's tailoring and garment measurements.
• Good understanding of Arabic thobe styles, fabrics, cuts, and fitting requirements.
• Previous experience in tailoring, menswear, fashion retail, garment manufacturing, or a related field.
• Customer service and sales experience is highly preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to confidently interact with customers and understand their requirements.
• Arabic language proficiency is required.
• Candidates with practical experience in both measurement/tailoring and sales will be strongly preferred.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Tailoring, Garment Manufacturing, or a related field is an advantage; strong practical experience will also be considered.

Compensation

• Junior Level: QAR 3,500 full live-out package plus monthly sales commission.
• Senior Level: QAR 4,500 full live-out package plus monthly sales commission.
• Annual leave and other applicable benefits will be provided in accordance with Qatar Labour Law.
• Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month.

Interview & Practical Assessment

• Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a practical assessment demonstrating their ability to take accurate body and garment measurements and perform other relevant tasks related to the position.
• Candidates currently in Qatar who are available to join immediately are preferred.
• Overseas candidates with strong and relevant experience may also be considered.
