The Evaluation Analyst is part of a multidisciplinary team of economists, researchers, market analysts and geospatial experts.
The role embeds evaluation research in Homes England decision-making and strategy to support social and economic impact.
Key responsibilities
- Support complex evaluations, own delegated tasks and help project managers deliver outputs for agency and government needs.
- Build relationships with delivery teams and analysts to support cooperation and shared ownership of evaluation outcomes.
- Manage evaluation processes, robust methodologies, quality assurance and compliance with analytical standards.
- Support commissioning, procurement and management of external research contracts, with attention to value for money and output quality.
- Identify evidence gaps and resolve methodological or data challenges.
- Improve the Evaluation Programme’s tools, methods and approaches.
- Communicate findings through reports, briefings and presentations.
- Collaborate with agency teams, other government departments, consultants and external partners.
About you
- Bring demonstrable experience working across teams and managing internal and external stakeholders collaboratively and inclusively.
- Have transferable research and analytical skills and an interest in evaluation and high-quality evidence.
- Be comfortable handling multiple projects and contributing to an evaluation programme.
- Housing-sector knowledge is desirable; transferable research and analytical skills are sought.
