Role overview

AI transformation and delivery

• Lead AI/ML solutions from requirements through production and operationalization for public sector clients.
• Develop transformation strategies aligned with national government priorities and strategic objectives.
• Design production-grade architectures across GenAI, NLP, LLMs, computer vision, and simulation.
• Contribute hands-on to model development, pipeline engineering, API design, and platform integration.

Leadership and architecture

• Lead a multidisciplinary AI/Data team and own team decisions, delivery quality, and individual growth.
• Engage senior government stakeholders through workshops, technical reviews, and executive presentations.
• Collaborate with data engineers, cloud architects, business analysts, and broader delivery teams.
• Govern AI & Data architecture, platform strategy, cloud service selection, and MLOps pipeline design.

Adoption and practice development

• Design operating models that help government clients sustain and extend AI capabilities after engagements.
• Design scalable approaches to public sector challenges with measurable impact.
• Drive adoption through change management and enablement; improve frameworks and delivery standards.
• Contribute thought leadership, reusable assets, and internal capability building.

Essential qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field; the description states a minimum of 12 years of work experience.
• 8–12 years in data analysis, statistics, machine learning, or computer science.
• 5+ years in machine learning, deep learning, or demonstrated NLP proficiency; 5+ years with AI/ML and cognitive services from AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• 1+ year designing, building, or implementing agentic architectures; 1+ year building cloud-based conversational AI and orchestrating AI/ML services.
• Must be able to code hands-on, lead cross-functional client-facing AI/ML teams, and take AI solutions through production and operationalization.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience leading Generative AI or agentic delivery for enterprise or government clients; public sector and consulting expertise.
• Prior delivery experience in Saudi Arabia or the broader GCC/MENA region and familiarity with Saudi Vision 2030 digital transformation initiatives.
• Arabic proficiency and a postgraduate qualification in AI, Data Science, or a related field are preferred.
