About the Job

We are seeking a creative, performance-oriented AI Performance Coach to guide the development, training, and optimization of AI-powered characters, digital humans, virtual agents, and conversational personas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for improving the quality, consistency, realism, and effectiveness of AI-driven interactions through coaching methodologies, behavioral design, performance evaluation, and continuous refinement.

This is a hands-on role working closely with AI engineers, conversation designers, character developers, performers, writers, researchers, and product teams to create engaging and believable AI experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead the coaching and performance development of AI-powered characters, digital humans, and conversational agents.

Develop behavioral frameworks, communication standards, personality guidelines, and interaction best practices for AI-driven experiences.

Evaluate AI character performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement, consistency, emotional intelligence, and conversational quality.

Collaborate with AI engineers, prompt designers, writers, performers, and product teams to enhance AI behavior and user interactions.

Design and implement performance assessment methodologies, feedback systems, and coaching programs for AI characters.

Analyze user interactions, feedback, and engagement data to guide performance improvements.

Support the creation of character profiles, personality documentation, conversation guidelines, and interaction playbooks.

Research emerging trends and best practices related to conversational AI, digital humans, performance psychology, storytelling, and human-computer interaction.

Coordinate testing sessions, quality assurance initiatives, and performance reviews for AI-driven systems.

Support demonstrations, workshops, presentations, and thought leadership initiatives related to AI performance and digital human development.

Qualifications

Minimum BA/MA in Psychology, Performing Arts, Communications, Human-Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, Education, Digital Media, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

At least 3–5 years of experience in coaching, performance development, training, user experience, AI-powered products, digital media, gaming, or related industries.

Strong understanding of human communication, behavior, audience engagement, and performance improvement techniques.

Experience

working with AI assistants, conversational systems, digital humans, virtual characters, or interactive technologies.

Knowledge of large language models, prompt design principles, conversational AI workflows, and character-driven experiences.

Excellent observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication, coaching, mentoring, and interpersonal abilities.

Experience

conducting evaluations, workshops, training programs, or performance reviews.

Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams across technical, creative, and business functions.

Portfolio or track record demonstrating successful coaching, training, optimization, or performance-related initiatives.

Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
