Role Overview
The AI-Native Team Coach supports teams in adopting, applying, and continuously improving an AI-Native delivery model.
As a shared Lean-Agile Centre of Excellence resource, the coach develops team capability and autonomy across multiple teams.
The role improves delivery systems through collaboration, flow, transparency, empiricism, and continuous improvement.
The coach supports approved AI use in planning, development, testing, coordination, and learning, with appropriate oversight.
Product roles and AI Value Architects own value realization, prioritization, and solution direction; delivery teams own execution.

Key accountabilities
- Evolve the AI-Native delivery model using Lean, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and AI-Native SAFe principles adapted to organizational, security, and operational requirements.
- Coach consistent team practices and progressively greater autonomy.
- Support outcome, flow, quality, and team-health measurement.
- Identify responsible AI-supported delivery opportunities with human oversight and validation.
- Help address impediments and systemic constraints, engaging stakeholders or specialists when needed.
- Build teams' independent planning, coordination, review, and improvement capabilities.
- Share lessons, practices, AI applications, and delivery-model improvements across teams and the LACE.
Education and experience
- Demonstrated experience coaching Agile teams and improving technology delivery systems in complex enterprise environments.
- Practical knowledge of Lean and Agile, Scrum, Kanban, flow, empiricism, and continuous improvement.
- Experience establishing teams or supporting new ways of working through adoption, stabilization, and maturation.
- Experience coaching multiple teams or working across a portfolio, division, or value stream.
- Experience using delivery, flow, outcome, quality, and team-health metrics for evidence-based improvement.
- Practical understanding of AI applications across technology delivery activities.
- Strong coaching, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience using Jira or similar work-management and delivery-visualization tools.
- Ability to identify systemic constraints and facilitate appropriate cross-functional or organizational interventions.
- Experience with small, cross-functional, or highly AI-enabled teams is preferred.
Relevant certifications
- Relevant Agile or coaching certifications may include SPC, ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF, CSP, PSM, or equivalent qualifications.
