AI / Lead AI & Automation Engineer

Role overview

AI solution development

• Design, build, and deploy generative and agentic AI solutions from prototype to live use with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Claude.
• Build AI agents for analysis, predictions, recommendations, and task automation.
• Create RAG solutions grounded in contracts, SOPs, policies, tenders, and manuals, responding in English and Arabic with source references.
• Implement approved requirements and agree changes or clarifications with stakeholders.
• Work with business users on site to understand processes, support user testing, and resolve issues after go-live.

Integration and automation

• Automate end-to-end processes with RPA and low-code tools such as Power Automate or UiPath.
• Integrate solutions with ERP, CRM, CAFM, Microsoft 365, and other real-estate, construction, and manufacturing systems using APIs and standards such as MCP.
• Require human approval before AI carries out sensitive actions.

Quality, security, and governance

• Test solutions before launch and monitor live accuracy, cost, and performance.
• Apply role-based access, data privacy, safeguards against prompt injection and data leakage, and traceability of AI actions.
• Maintain version control, deployment practices including ML Ops/LLM Ops, and documentation.

Standards and collaboration

• Build reusable connectors, templates, and prompts, applying engineering standards across AI solutions.
• Evaluate AI tools, platforms, and vendors and advise on build-versus-buy decisions.
• Work with data, BI, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and application teams to enable secure, scalable delivery.
• Coordinate technical delivery with vendors and contractors where external support is used.
• Support user training and AI awareness sessions.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• A master's degree is an advantage.

Work arrangement

• The role includes working with business users on site.
