Role and team

The Accounts Receivable Associate joins the Middle East and Africa Finance team based in Riyadh and supports A&M offices across the region.

The role reports to regional Accounts Receivable leadership and works with regional finance colleagues, local offices, engagement teams, and the wider EMEA finance function.

The team administers client invoicing, project codes, and billing support for regional operations.

Billing and project administration

  • Set up project codes and raise client invoices for regional entities in line with local requirements and internal approvals.
  • Create and distribute accurate, timely invoices so engagement teams can issue them to clients within agreed timelines; post invoice WIP allocations.
  • Manage temporary code extensions, client code administration, and master data updates.

Queries, close, and compliance

  • Investigate billing queries, coordinate resolution with regional stakeholders, and assist with statutory audit samples and billing-related audit queries.
  • Support month-end close checks for billing completeness, WIP allocations, and open items.
  • Coordinate applicable VAT, withholding tax, and client-specific invoice requirements with engagement teams, finance colleagues, and local offices.

Client invoice portals

  • Maintain working knowledge of Etimad, UGRP, and the ZATCA portal for invoice submission requirements.
  • Upload invoices with complete supporting documents and portal-specific information; report submission, approval, rejection, and follow-up status.
  • Experience uploading invoices through SAP Ariba is an advantage.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of billing, accounts receivable, or finance operations experience; professional services or consulting experience is preferred.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and Arabic for regional stakeholder and client interaction.
  • Strong accuracy, organization, communication, and teamwork; able to learn quickly and work independently or collaboratively.
  • Good understanding of billing, collections, and basic Middle East and Africa tax and compliance considerations.
  • Able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
