Role overview

Accounting and billing duties

• Record daily financial transactions; prepare journal entries, ledger postings, and accounting adjustments; maintain supporting documentation.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable records, verify transactions against documents, and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Invoice IT hardware, software licenses, IT services, projects, and maintenance contracts after verifying supporting sales and delivery documents.
• Coordinate with sales and technical teams on project completion, service delivery, billing, milestones, and contractual payment terms.
• Track recurring AMC, software subscription, cloud service, and IT support revenue, contract dates, renewals, pending billing, and discrepancies.
• Monitor overdue customer balances, reconcile statements, allocate receipts, prepare collection reports, and escalate delayed or disputed payments.
• Verify supplier invoices and payment requests, maintain supplier ledgers, reconcile statements, track due dates, and coordinate procurement-related payments.
• Monitor petty cash, prepare expense and reimbursement reports, reconcile bank and cash accounts, investigate discrepancies, and support cash-flow monitoring.

Candidate requirements

• Prior experience in an IT company, IT services and solutions provider, technology trading company, or similar business environment.
• Understanding of financial processes for IT hardware and software sales, service contracts, project billing, AMC contracts, renewals, and recurring service revenue.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with finance, sales, procurement, technical, and management teams.
