The Welcomer is the first point of contact for hotel guests in Dubai.
The role creates a warm, personalized welcome and supports smooth guest arrivals and departures.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally and provide personalized check-in and check-out experiences.
- Assist with inquiries, directions, hotel information, and welcome amenities.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and Guest Relations for a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain a visible lobby presence and promote hotel services, facilities, and promotions.
- Handle feedback and resolve or escalate issues appropriately.
- Record and communicate guest preferences and special requests.
- Maintain a polished appearance and anticipate guest needs with relevant recommendations.
Qualifications
- At least one year of front-office or guest-facing experience in a four- or five-star hotel.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai and its tourist attractions.
- Basic computer skills; Opera or similar hotel management software experience is preferred.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Service-oriented, adaptable, attentive, and able to multitask in a multicultural environment.
