Develop, maintain, and improve the company website, software applications, and internal business systems.
Work with the IT team and other departments to improve system performance, business processes, and digital transformation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize the website and web applications; design, test, and implement software solutions.
- Support ERP systems and integrations; develop and maintain APIs, databases, and connections between business applications.
- Improve website performance, security, usability, and mobile responsiveness; fix bugs and system errors.
- Collaborate across departments, maintain technical documentation and configuration records, and conduct testing, updates, backups, and routine maintenance.
- Support data integrity, system reliability, and information security practices; recommend workflow and digital-tool improvements.
- Provide technical support and user guidance when needed.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven web development and software engineering experience; strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks.
- Backend programming experience with PHP, Python, Java, or Node.js; knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
- Experience with REST APIs, software integrations, and Git; familiarity with ERP systems, website administration, and business application support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate across teams.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to technical problem-solving.
Preferred skills
- Preferred: ERP implementation, customization, or integration experience; e-commerce platforms; cloud hosting, server management, and website security.
- Preferred: reporting tools, automation, workflow optimization, and software development lifecycle knowledge.
Working hours
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.
Compensation
- Pay starts at AED 5,000 per month; compensation and benefits are based on experience and company policy.
Work location
- Work location is Dubai, UAE; the posting specifies in-person work.
