Role overview
Oversees safe, efficient, and technically compliant warehouse operations in an oil and gas environment.
Leads receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, inventory control, and issuing of technical materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment.
Supports uninterrupted material availability for maintenance and operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations and supervise warehouse personnel.
- Manage technical and critical spare parts, equipment, tools, and consumables.
- Oversee material receiving, inspection, identification, storage, preservation, and issuing.
- Maintain inventory records and ERP/WMS data integrity; monitor stock levels and critical spares.
- Coordinate material requirements with Maintenance, Operations, Procurement, and Engineering.
- Handle hazardous, sensitive, and high-value materials appropriately; conduct cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Identify obsolete, surplus, and slow-moving materials and support material optimization.
- Ensure HSE, quality, warehouse procedure, and applicable oil and gas standards compliance.
- Support audits, investigations, and improvement initiatives; develop and monitor warehouse KPIs.
- Provide technical guidance and training to warehouse staff.
Role requirements
- Provide technical leadership to warehouse personnel.
- Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, HSE, and Logistics.
- Ensure warehouse activities comply with company procedures, industry standards, and HSE requirements.
