The Waitress provides customer service, takes food and beverage orders, serves customers, and helps maintain a pleasant dining experience.
Work is in person in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and explain food and beverage items when required.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally; check regularly that customers are satisfied.
- Handle requests, questions, and complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are prepared and served correctly.
- Clear and clean tables; set them with cutlery, napkins, glasses, and other required items.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining and service areas and follow food safety and company procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Inform the supervisor or manager about customer concerns, damaged equipment, shortages, or operational issues.
- Process payments and provide accurate bills when required.
- Maintain a professional appearance and complete uniform; support restaurant team members and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Waitress or in a similar restaurant position is preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills are expected.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team are required.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant environment is required.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service is expected.
- Basic English communication skills are required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays as required.
